Positek's TIPS® tilt displacement transducer
range includes:
The P603 is an analogue highly accurate tilt transducer which provides
outstanding durability and performance at low cost. The sensor uses
the positek PIPS inductive technology to sense the angular motion
of an oil damped pendulum. The electronic interface is integrated
within the sensor producing a very compact and durable device.
the P603 gives linear output characteristics with the angle of tilt.
Tilt angles from ±15° up to ±80° can be achieved
by factory calibration.
Each sensor is calibrated exactly to the angle required so that it
is perfectly set up for the application.
Hysteresis and repeatability of 0.5° is maintained along with
a good non-linearity of ±0.5° over ±50°. Excellent
performance and stability over the -20 to +85°C temperature range
The sensor housing is sealed to IP67 making it suitable for most applications.
The sensor comes with a flange mount housing and a sealed M12 4 pin
connector.
