General Information

The following sensors are ATEX approved to:

Ex II 1GD,  EEx ia IIC T4,   Ex iaD 20 T135°C (Ta = -40°C to +80°C)

 Linear Position Sensors
E100 Cylinder linear position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E101 Stand alone linear position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E103 Short stroke linear position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E111 Rugged stand alone linear position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E112 Gauge head position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E117 Slim-line linear position sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
 
Rotary Position Sensors
E500 Rotary sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
E502 Small angle rotary sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.
 
Tilt Position Sensor
E603 Large angle tilt sensor. Intrinsically Safe for Hazardous Dust Atmospheres.

Intrinsically safe sensors are supplied with Pepperl & Fuchs Barriers with the following output options:


KFD2-PT2-Ex1-Y98312 (Sensor calibrated to give 0.5-9.5 volts Output)
KFD2-PT2-Ex1-6-Y112844  (Sensor calibrated to give 4-20mA Output)
