Pressure Transducers

A pressure transducer is a sensor used to give an accurate reading on actual pressure, this can be vacuum, gauge or absolute. The pressure transducers we offer can measure pressure up to 5,000 bar.

Pressure transducers are suitable for complex pressure applications, they are able to monitor exact pressure which makes them suitable for these types of applications.

Pressure Transducers are critical for many applications in various industries, some of these applications are;

Medical Applications pressure transducers are used within the medical sector for monitoring gas analysers within hospitals, to monitor liquid levels for various uses and also to monitor and give feedback on fitness machines.

Automotive Applications pressure transducers are used in various vehicles to monitor oil and fuel pressure as well as tyre pressure. In commercial vehicles, they are used to monitor ABS and engine hydraulics.

HVAC Applications Pressure transducers are used for various monitoring applications in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. This type of application requires a robust pressure transducer as the environment can be very harsh.

Motorsport Applications pressure transducers are used for various motorsport applications including brake pressure and speed shifters. Because these types of applications are often in very small spaces, they sometimes used a combined pressure and temperature transducer.

Subsea Applications we have recently developed a new submersible pressure transducer. These are encased in a submersible housing similar to the housing used for our submersible position sensors. They are suitable for applications including liquid level measurement and can be submerged up to 3500 meters.
